Company Profile

The Lietzke Doors business was started in 1972 when Bill Lietzke commenced manufacturing metal clad doors based on a design from Germany. In 1996 Lietzke Doors was acquired by the AM Group, and in 1996 was relocated to a new purpose built 3,000 m2 factory. Since 1999 there has been continued investment in the business in new equipment, new processes and in new technology.

Over the years a wide range of pre-hung metal door units (comprising metal clad doors factory fitted in metal door frames, and including door hardware) were developed to meet local demands and customer requirements. Innovative product developments such as the design and construction of a metal embossing machine to add decorative patterns and strength to the metal doors has kept Lietzke a market leader.

Today, Lietzke uses the latest solid modeling, computer aided drafting (CAD) systems and computer numerical controlled (CNC) equipment to ensure the highest quality of our design and products.

Lietzke Doors manufactures pre-hung metal door units for an extremely diverse range of uses and is ideally suited for all commercial and industrial building projects. The metal door units are designed to provide superior levels of durability, security and finish while reducing trade coordination, site work and overall costs in comparison to conventional door and frame products. The transportable building market has long benefited from the use of pre-hung metal door units and this has become the industry standard.

Lietzke Doors also custom design and manufacture doors and pre-hung door units for high security and special purpose applications including prison cells doors, bullet resistant doors, acoustic doors, laboratory doors, clean room doors, and even door units for the Collins Class Submarines.
