Lietzke Doors awarded Cobham Juvenile Justice Centre Redevelopment

In November 2011 Lietzke Doors was awarded the contract to design, supply and install all the windows, doors and door frames for the Cobham Juvenile Justice Centre Stage 3 Redevelopment. This challenging project includes a very wide range of products and includes all the high, medium and low security needs for windows, frames, doors and various access hatches.

The project offers an excellent opportunity to re-visit the organizational framework of the existing centre originally constructed in the 1970s. Modernise its facilities to meet current demands, re connect it to the landscape and re think how a detention centre can deliver appropriate services to the community. The redevelopment of the existing 85 Bed centre will include; an additional 54 beds, new school and clinic, staff office/support facilities, expanded recreational facilities around a series  of consolidated courtyards and car parking for staff and emergency services.
